Introduction

What Yieldo is

Yieldo is an independent scoring platform for DeFi yield vaults. It collects on-chain data across hundreds of vaults, scores each one across four dimensions — Capital, Performance, Risk, and Trust — and makes those scores available to wallets, depositors, and anyone evaluating where to put yield-bearing capital. The score is a signal, not a recommendation. What you do with it is your decision.

Why it exists

Most DeFi yield vaults show an APY. Few show anything else. The information needed to evaluate a vault properly — whether its yield is organic or incentive-driven, whether depositors are staying or leaving, whether the underlying asset has ever depegged, whether the vault has experienced an exploit — exists on-chain. It is just not surfaced in a form that is usable at the point of decision. Yieldo exists to close that gap. Not by telling users what to do, but by doing the work of aggregating, computing, and presenting on-chain data as a structured, comparable signal across every vault on the platform.

Who it’s for

  • Wallet users who want to understand whether a vault is safe before depositing, and what the numbers on a vault card actually mean.
  • Wallet integrators looking to embed a yield tab that surfaces only verified, scored vaults — without building the scoring infrastructure themselves.
  • Vault curators and platforms who want an independent, on-chain-derived assessment of their vaults and visibility into how they compare.

What Yieldo is not

  • Not a wallet. Yieldo does not hold, move, or manage funds.
  • Not a vault platform. Yieldo does not offer yield products or manage strategies.
  • Not an investment advisor. Nothing produced by Yieldo constitutes financial advice or a recommendation to deposit into any vault.
  • Not affiliated with the vaults it scores. Yieldo does not accept listing fees. No vault can pay to appear on the platform or to improve its score.
